about

I wrote this tune while sitting on a porch up in the mountains of Virginia. I was thinking about how folks had been sitting like me up on mountain tops alone all over the world. We write a tune and all an outside person could see or hear would be the one instrument, but sometimes after we create a tune, we can jam on it hearing a whole band playing it with us and rocking out even if they are not there. I was particularly thinking of an old man in Appalachia, or China, or Nepal where I have spent some time. If you want to see more of what I do with music, teaching, or leading Tours to Nepal check out my website. www.TaraLinhardt.com
